The following are some sample trips that we can put together for you: Nature 8-DAY COAST TO COAST This is a great itinerary for nature lovers; you will explore the trails, canals, and rivers of Tortuguero National Park on the Caribbean and the Southern Rainforest and Corcovado National Park. On this trip you will boat to Tortuguero from San Jose, fly from Tortuguero to the Osa Peninsula, and then take a boat down the Pacific Coast to your lodge near Corcovado National Park. 9-DAY TROPICAL FOREST AND BEACH This is a a very popular itinerary that combines the Costa Rican highlights of Arenal Volcano and Monteverde Cloud Forest with more relaxing days at one of the Pacific Coast beaches. Additional days can be added at any of the locations to extend your stay. 11-DAY GRAND NATURE ADVENTURE This itinerary will take you to four of the most popular geographical areas of Costa Rica, each offering unique opportunities for viewing spectacular forest regions and different species of wildlife. Additional days may be added to any of these locations to extend your trip. Active 8-DAY COSTA RICAN ADVENTURE The Pacuare is a trip of pure magic, unsurpassed beauty, exuberant wildlife and great rapids. Along its course lie several densely vegetated gorges, which shelter ocelots, monkeys, sloths and a large variety of birds, warm water and breathtaking scenery combine to make an unforgettable trip. Though there are Class IV (intermediate level) rapids on this river, an adventurous first-time rafter will enjoy themselves. 9-DAY RAFTING AND BEACH ADVENTURE This trip combines the adventure of a thrilling whitewater rafting trip with time to relax at the beach, taking you first to the Carribean side of the country and then to the Pacific coast, to a beach destination of your choosing. Special Interest 9-DAY COSTA RICA FAMILY EXPLORATION This trip will start with a scenic drive to Poas Volcano for a gaze down into the steam cauldron of its colorful crater, one of the widest and deepest in the world. Then you will be driven through coffee plantations and small villages to the Central Pacific Coastline. Miles of sandy white beaches and forest trails have made this one of the most popular areas in Costa Rica. You may view migrating marine birds. The waters are crystal clear, making these beaches popular for snorkeling. The surf is gentle, great for swimming, body surfing, playing with a boogie board, or just relaxing. 10-DAY TROPICAL BIRDING With more than 850 species of birds, all found within a tight geographic area, Costa Rica offers birders of all levels of expertise and unrivaled birdwatching experience during their stay in the country. From the lowland rainforest at La Selva and Braulio Carrillo National Park, to the oak forest of the Talamanca Mountains and Cerro de la Muerte, Central America's highest mountain range, to the tropical and transition rainforest along the Pacific Coast, birders will discover a rich variety of habitats filled with wonderfully diverse groups of birds. |
